TWO streets in Cebu City have been temporarily closed to give way to emergency vehicles and patients set to be admitted to hospitals.
Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) deputy chief of operation and CCTO spokesperson Paul Gotiong said these streets include Gov. M. Roa Street near Cebu Doctors’ Hospital and Don Mariano Cui Street in Chong Hua Hospital.
Don Mariano Cui Street was closed last August 1, 2021, while Gov. M. Roa Street was closed on Thursday morning, August 12.
Gotiong said the CCTO anticipates for possible emergency situations.
“Para ma-cater sad og tarong mga ambulance, emergency vehicles, and patients of the hospital,” said Gotiong.
He said the period of the road closure is still indefinite.
He assured though that the temporary road closure would not affect the motorists. (JJL)
