TikTok sensation Bella Poarch went viral on Friday (August 13) following the release of the music video for her song “Inferno.”
The video is a collaboration between the Fil-Am TikTok star and artist Sub Urban. It also featured cameo appearances from several famous content creators including fellow Filipinos Ivana Alawi and Bretman Rock.
Set in a vintage hotel with a Hollywood glamor vibe, the video begins with two men drugging Bella’s drink. As Bella is pulled inside an elevator by her supposed attackers, she suddenly develops superpowers and turns the elevator shaft to an “inferno.” The chorus of the song goes, “I’m the reason why hell’s so hot.”
As portrayed in the video, “Inferno” tackles a dark theme—sexual assault. In the video’s comment section, the singer opened up about the song and the video meaning for her, revealing that, she, too, is a survivor of sexual assault.
“This is something I haven’t been ready to share with you just yet. It’s very hard for me to talk about. But I’m ready now,” she said.

Bella’s following has blown up as of late. Apart from amassing 78.2 million followers, the singer also landed a deal with A3 artists, an agency in Los Angeles. Her debut offering, ‘Build a B*tch,’ currently stands over 267 million views. Her supporters lauded the song for being a “feminist” anthem. Social media personalities such as Bretman Rock, Mia Khalifa and Valkyrae all guest-starred in the video.
